Tanana River Watershed

Welcome to the Alaska Boreal Forest Council and GW Scientific's Upwelling Studies Page! This site is very new so please check back every few days for additional information. We are jointly studying the impacts of ground-water upwelling on fisheries resources in the Tanana River Watershed. Our other partners in this effort include Restoration Science and Engineering, EEInternet, and the community of Whitestone Farms. We also appreciate the coordination and assistance of the Alaska Departments of Fish and Game and Natural Resources. Our funding resources are being matched by Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation, Nonpoint Source Pollution Program.
